i'm celebrating a bit tonight. i take pride in knowing that you lovely people tune in to this little blog--and that some of you like it enough to follow. i've never asked anyone specifically to follow the blog (as a stipulation to a giveaway or something of the like). rather, i'd prefer that people follow because they want to--because they're interested in what me & my family are up to.tonight marked my 100th follower! so i did a little happy dance (quietly--since the kiddos are sound asleep on either side of me), and am hosting a giveaway to celebrate. to one lucky reader, a handmade pillowcase bag--one i started sewing up yesterday during naptime. it's not yet completed, so no photos, but i will say i used one of my favorite pillowcases and it's super cute, even in it's unfinished state.

I made the green bean salad (again) but this time for the in-laws in Iowa. Perfect non-salad salad! The cousins couldn't stop picking beans out of the bowl before dinner. A hit!
