remember awhile back when i said that jeremy and i were undertaking new venture that's been keeping us pretty busy? well, i finally get to share just what i'm talking about. after many years of walking (and shopping) the alameda point antique fair, we opened up our own booth. lucy charmingly refers to it as "our shop." too cute. here are some photos from our "grand opening."
it was a great (though ever-so-exhausting) time. the kids were fantastic which came as a great relief. you don't see too many sellers with little ones in tow out at the fair. the 4 a.m. start time probably has something to do with that, no? check out hudson, tucked in with all of the goodies, ready to roll at 3:30 in the morning...

this little chickadee came out to keep us company, too, with grandma in tow. ah. it was a lovely day. no major mishaps, beautiful weather. family and great friends dropping by our booth to say hello. both kids napping on the floor of the suburban at the same time. a bit of a dream come true. and the money wasn't bad, either!
thanks for hanging in here at the abandoned blog while we were off getting "our shop" going!

Such a good idea, I've been wondering when you would do this! Wish I could shop there.
they all look so pretty and simple..:)
This must have been exhausting!
How often are you planning on setting up shop there?
@ kristen:
every month for the next 6 months. we'll go from there depending on how it works out!
Wow, just awesome! I wish I could see it in person. Good luck in your newest endeavor :)
Wow! You have such lovely things! I wish we had somewhere like that around here.
