we made bagels and soft pretzels this past weekend. we're using the book
artisan bread in five minutes a day for all of our recent bread and pizza recipes. bagel and pretzel making is a bit labor intensive, as you've got to boil the dough, then bake. but overall, not too much hassle if you've got a little time. which we did. we rolled in some cinnamon and raisins into our bagels--yum! though lucy is the only child i've ever known who majorly dislikes raisins. funny, because grapes are one of her favorite foods. go figure.
